How many computers do you have in your house?
Submitted by Foomper.
Is this a trick question? I thought everything in your house had a little computer inside nowadays: washing machine, microwave, teddy bear, pyjama bottoms... In terms of proper computers, we have three - my Mac Mini desktop and iBook laptop, and our rubbish old PC which is only still here because my entire MP3 collection is still on the hard drive, and I haven't been arsed to transfer it yet.
If games consoles, handhelds, mobile phones etc also count as computers, I shudder to think how many there are in the house. And worse, how many of those rarely get used...
How many pets have you owned in your lifetime? Tell us about them.

As if I hadn't posted on here about my cats too much already...
1 and 2. My first pets (that I can remember) were two black cats called, I think, Jack and Jill. Until Jack buggered off to live with an old lady in the street behind ours, who kept feeding him and then got all bolshy when my parents politely asked if she could stop. So we were left with one cat, who gradually lost the name Jill and just became 'Puss' (as in "HERE pusspusspusspusspuss!, DINNER pusspusspusspusspuss! etc". She was great though, lived to a ripe old age, and is the finest exponent the cat-world has ever seen of jumping on your face in the middle of the night, and being fast asleep on your pillow in the 3 seconds it took you to turn around shocked after having sat bolt upright.
3. A gerbil called, with wild originality, Gerbie. He once escaped and lived behind the fridge for about a month, only emerging once we'd assumed the cat (above) had got him. I don't think he did much else interesting though.
4. Fred. Not so much a pet, as a bloody enormous spider that lived behind the TV, coming out once a night to scare the willies out of the entire family. Until one day my mum closed her eyes, and shoved a hoover into the corner at arm's length. Then we bought a new hoover in case he was inside waiting to jump out. Really.
5. Albie. A hamster who was, would you believe it, an albino. He didn't last long though. I don't like to talk about it.
6. Barley and Lola (below). Two tortoiseshell cats who we got last year from a rescue home nearby. They're growing fast, are a joy to be around, except when they're munching pigeons on next door's lawn. Oh, and Barley tends to lose control of her bodily functions when stressed, which is nice.
What was the last game you played?
It was the magnificent Splinter Cell: Double Agent on my mobile phone. It's a platform game that sees you sneaking about, swinging through windows, knocking out security guards and even hopping into a helicopter at one point. It's bonzer. I did a slightly more literary review here for Pocket Gamer, and you can buy the game from the publisher Gameloft's website.
